At the Fleet Banquet yesterday the following actions were taken:
Captain Richard Henline was promoted to Commodore and assigned to Fleet Operations
The U.S.S. Kelly NCC-73400 was retired. She will remain the symbolic flagship of the Fleet and given special assignements.
The U.S.S. Kelly NCC-73400A was commissioned with Dave Thalmann granted a filed promotion to Captain. All other positons are still pending.
The Seventh Fleet welcomed the U.S.S. Atlantis to our organization. They are based in Burley Idaho and commanded by Captain Charlie Coor (sp). Some of their crew was at the Fleet Games last fall.

Friday Feb 5 7-9 pm Gaming Away Team. First Friday of each month at Dragon Roost Games 5360 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah by Harmons.

Cost: $5.00 to $12.00 a combo plate (ala carte items also available).
Everyone will be responsible for their own tab.

from south of Ogden:
Head north on I-15, get off on exit 344 (Ogden 12th Street) and head east.
Not too far from the freeway is the cross street of 1200 west. Just past
the light on 1200 west you will see a used car lot and a small strip mall
on the south side of 12th Street. There is a rent-to-own place in the
mall with Chaparro's next to it.
Dress code in order of preference:
Dress
uniform or dress costume for civilians
Duty uniform or nice costume for civilians
Nice civilian dress ("Sunday Best")

Since the Retributor is a samll ship without the resources to do major fundraisers; the Fleet would ordinarily tap some of it's funds to help. Unfortunately there is no money at this time. Star Trek XII writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have announced that they will NOT do a re-make of any of the Star Trek I-Nemesis films.

Atari is partnering with Del Taco to offer limited-edition collector’s cups with a bonus.
Visitors to Del Taco will get a free trial of Star Trek: Online with their soda when they buy the “macho-sized” drink. If after trying out the game the customer decides to purchase it, he or she will get a free Type-8 Shuttle to use in the game.

The U.S.S. Kelly is a non-profit fan club organization with the purpose of bringing people together to enjoy and promote Star Trek. The data above are for the information of our members. Members of other clubs are advised to check with their own officers regarding Non-Kelly-Specific events announced here. The U.S.S. Kelly operates on a "pay-as-you-go" basis. We do not charge dues or admission fees. Anyone is welcome to attend our activities. No one is required to buy anything to participate with us, except where admission is charged by the venue of the activity (conventions, amusement parks, museums, etc). In such cases it is the individual's responsibility to cover such costs if they wish to join us.
