4) How old do you have to be to join? The minimum age requirement to join on your own is 16. If you are under 16 you may come if a parent joins with you or supervises you at activities. The Kelly is a family-oriented ship, but we are not a babysitting service.
The Kelly usually meets at least once per month for a ship wide activity and once per month as a department. The monthly Kelly activities are posted on the Current Events page. Some departments have their own web pages, and should have their monthly Department activities listed as well. (See the Meet The Crew page for these links.)
This is actually
why you will need to choose a department when you come aboard. Each department
has a department head (a.k.a. "Senior Officer").
It is this person's responsibility to let you know not only what is required
for your next rank, but teach you how to record what you've done and help
you achieve it. (It is more than likely that your Senior Officer will
also be working toward their own rank advancement.) 7) Do you hold your members to any behavioral standards? We do. Click HERE to review our code of conduct. Agreeing to abide by the code is part of the application process. - For questions about the club, or about membership not answered by this web site, Click Here!
